New World Armoring Leveling Guide

Armoring is one of the most essential skills in the New World. It helps you craft various armor pieces of variants light, medium, and heavy. Players opting for this skill have a major advantage as they can craft Storage Bags for their benefit. These bags can either be sold to other players for money, or you can use them for yourself to increase the capacity of your inventory space.

The skill depends upon other New World skills for the resources and materials. Alternatively, you can purchase the materials from other players in the game. Here are the skills that are recommended to gather the resources – Leather Working, Skinning, Smelting, Mining, Weaving, and Harvesting.

The following guide will help you efficiently level up your Armoring skill, alongside the rewards that you will obtain once you max out.

Materials & Skills Required

When you open up the crafting interface, you will notice a panel in the center of the display. It shows you the materials required to craft the item. Each of these items requires primary materials and one or more secondary materials.

Another benefit is that you can additionally place a special perk to predetermine the initial one that you wish to place on the item. You can also add Azoth to increase your chances of obtaining a gem socket or perk. Here are the materials that can be placed on the crafted items – Tier 2 Metals, Leather, Refined Wood, Special Resources, and Azoth.

What are the benefits?

Armoring allows you to craft powerful armor pieces that are significantly required as your progress further in the game. Besides that, the chances of obtaining gem sockets and perks are also increased as you level up the skill.
At every stage during the leveling phase, you will come across newly unlocked recipes, alongside greater variants of the already existing ones.

How to level up?

Stick to the lowest tier to quickly level up your Armouring skill in the game. The primary reason is that the cost of crafting the materials rises when you reach a higher tier than the existing one. The cost basically doubles up so that method is not recommended. The other reason is that lower-tier materials are easy to obtain.
